Not to Alarm You, But...

So as promised I did my To Do List yesterday, and I think it went OK.  I will learn to prioritize a bit more and through this journey be able to be more productive and able to work towards goals rather than being foggy and frantic.
Now, I promise I will not bore you with my whole To Do List everyday, but I will probably give you at least my Top Ten for a while as I am acclimating myself to the new routine.  Not so much because you care, but it gives me accountability.  So Here it goes.

TO DO LIST

-------------------------------------------------

MY TOP 10

  1. Time with Jesus - at least 20 min --did a devotional(does not count as reading time) and read the entire chapter of referenced scripture and Prayed past the timer
  2. Shower --This one is hard for me, I make myself, and yes sometimes my hygiene a last priority but I did take a bath
  3. Get Little Man Dressed and Ready for school --I have to make a way for this to go faster 30 min for one pair of pants is ridiculous, he just won't cooperate
  4. 2 Loads of Laundry--I am waiting for number three to finish in the wash as I type
  5. Prepare meals-- I can't get by not doing this one, but I did and the meat loaf was fabulous
  6. Homework with T--it only took 3 hours of fighting, but it did get done
  7. Pack Lunches and get coffee pot ready for Big and Little Man---did it while cleaning up supper dishes
  8. Make tomorrow's To Do List--while BM and LM were reading together
  9. Read anything for 20 min--- I read 2 chapters of How to Work for Yourself, at least I think that's the Title, I will have to check.
  10. Blog/Journal-- well, I am doing that now

OTHER TASKS

  1. Start the coffee pot--ha ha I didn't get up in time he was on his own
  2. unload/reload dishwasher actually did it twice, well unloaded it twice anyway
  3. put my clean clothes away--not done
  4. put LM's clothes away--not done
  5. Curriculum with charges(daycare kids)--done and loved every minute
  6. promote both businesses--I did some promotion of the day care today, but I didn't do much with Wildtree, as of right now, that is my main income and it needed some attention.
  7. sweep and mop the floors--well I attempted to sweep the living room, but that is as far as it got.
  8. Change the sheets on my bed--I started but my ADD kicked in and I left the room, I am sure my husband just put the old sheet back on and is sleeping right now.
  9. be in bed by 10--well, it is now 11:11 pm so I will say I got an F on that one.

Overall I feel like today was a success and the tasks not complete will still be there tomorrow and no one is hurt from them not being done.

TODAY'S GOAL

I have a nickname only known by a few close people in my life, it was given to me by my Grandfather, my Papa.  It was given to me at a very young age because of something I loved ever so dearly...SLEEP!!!!  Papa started calling me Snoozy, or Snoozy-Q and it just stuck.  Now, I don't go to bed early, or anything like that, but given the right situation and I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat.  Once I am asleep I am next to impossible to wake up.  So today's goal is to overcome the procrastination I implement when I refuse to get out of bed.

The Goal

Set one Alarm and don't hit snooze!

By doing this I will literally be adding 2 and 1 half hours to my day.  Yes I am that bad.  This will be very difficult for me, but if I succeed I might actually be done with my day by 10 and be able to be in bed and asleep at a decent hour.  Pray for me, and I will pray for you all.  Enjoy your life's blessings.
